| They actually have one now that goes off on impact alone. The tornado has been out for a while. They arent the most reliable grenades, but they are the best in terms of BB spread. The only catch is that a BB spread locally is not really necessary. For a grenade to count you dont have to be hit by a BB in local and national rules. The grenaded just has to pop and anyone within 10 feet is considered hit. If you want something to drool over. The only issue with these is (well besides throwing bbs when its not really necessary) that the trigger mech is a series of tiny pieces. Once the grenade goes off they are loose inside there until you put them on the pin and place them back in the grenade. This makes it very difficult to re load in field. One of the key points of a reusable grenade is to be able to clear a room, pick it up, reload it and throw it in the next room. Its a great idea and neat to have, but if you get this one you should get other types of frags that you can refill in field. The other catch 22 is losing them. Since they are rather expensive you better throw it where you can see it otherwise someone may walk off with it, or you could just outright lose it. Thats one of the nicer things about the disposable ones... Toss it and forget it. | |
