so yea i just have a few things to say in this post

#1 I am ordering 1 inch stars to tell ranks (and they look cool) they are .75 cents each they come in red, blue or yellowish gold.
they are iron on patches, but can be sewed on. 4 stars general, 3 stars Lieutenant General, 2 stars Major General, 1 star Brigadier General
Nothing is really told about the names but they look professional. NOT REQUIRED

#2 I wont be able to get any new equipment or guns for 2 months(or till i get a job). But still am looking. If you know me i will change my mind ALOT but am now looking at a d-boy scar. Here is the link.

Come to an event and meet up with me. I'll introduce you to some people and get to see what people use and why they use it. Spending that kind of money without the proper info you will not be pleased. Odds are people will show you better products for cheaper.

it's informal, most of the people there have cheap guns, i have a couple cheap electrics a couple shotguns and a couple spring pistols that you can borrow.

buy a muzzle velocity reducer, they're 15 bucks on evike and they say they'll lower fps by up to 47% depending on which ring you put on it and make sure you know whether your barrel is threaded clockwise or counter clockwise.

370 is the standard at most mout facilities and national events. Trust me Dont rely on FPS. My guns at 365 with .25's will out range most 400+ fps rifles. FPS isnt everything.

Can I also recommend good eye protection. I see some of the necessary gear is a mask. In airsoft most fields do not require masks and most operators do not wear masks. At most places you can use shooting glasses. I would narrow it down and say that proper eye protection is necessary. Only certain fields have people under 18 wear masks due to the insurance.

O yeah and boots! Boots make a world of a difference in an operator.

all the places i've seen around here don't let you wear shooters, they say it has to be full seal goggles. are the ones you're talking about larger events or something?

No, its the smaller events that allow shooting glasses. Ghost Town, the Citadel, etc are insured and the insurance requires full seal. Outside of those events shooters are OK. You'll see more as events are posted. Only the major fields are posting games right now. Once the weather breaks more games will be posted from other places.

Also full seal does NOT mean a mask. It means the goggles have to fully seal your eyes. So something such as Bolle goggles or ESS turbo fans are allowed. The only time a mask is required is for certain fields who require under 18 to use them.
